Where can I buy the tickets from?

For Enslaved 4.0 physical tickets are available at the following venues

How do I register my physical ticket?

Go to https://enslavedyc.co/tickets/ and click on “I have a ticket”.
Select Number of tickets you want to verify.
You will be redirected to the cart page with tickets already added.
Enter your serial number in “Coupon Code” and press enter.
For multiple ticket registrations, press enter after each serial number.
Your total should be Rs.0 after adding all the serial numbers.
Click on “proceed to checkout”.
Enter your billing details, don’t worry, you won’t be charged.
For each ticket, enter Attendee name and phone number.
Click on “Place Order”.
You will receive an email with a copy of E-Ticket/s on your email address. Show that email or bring your physical ticket on the day of conference for smooth entry.

I purchased an E-Ticket, what’s next?

You will receive an email with your E-Ticket containing a QR code. Please show that email upon arrival at the conference.

You can alternatively, take a screenshot of your e-ticket for safe-keepings. Make sure the screenshot contains the QR-Code of your ticket.

Can I buy multiple E-Tickets at the same time?

Yes, you can buy multiple E-Tickets at the same time. Keep in mind that all the tickets will be sent to the same email address, in the same email.

I purchased my E-Ticket but haven’t received an email yet.

Can I show screenshot of my E-Ticket on entry?

Yes, you can enter the conference with screenshot of your E-Ticket ONLY IF the QR-Code is visible in the screenshot.

Can I register multiple physical tickets at the same time?

Yes, you can register multiple physical tickets at the same time. Keep in mind that all the tickets will be verified through the same email address, in the same email.

Why do I need to register my physical ticket?

You can get entry upon showing your purchased physical ticket, however registering your ticket online is highly recommended in case you lose it.

I purchased/registered multiple tickets at the same time, how do I share them with my friends?

As multiple E-tickets are sent to the same email address, you can either forward them the email or you can share the screenshot of their ticket with them. Keep in mind the QR-code should be visible.

Are the tickets refundable?

Please refer to our Refund Policy.

How early should I reach the venue?

You should arrive at the venue at least 30 minutes before the start of the conference to ensure a smooth entry.

I have lost my physical ticket and did not register it online, what should I do?

Please WhatsApp on 0332-3391080 / 0331-2755374 with your query and we will guide you in person.

Is there any transport facility available?

Yes, subsidized transport facility is available from various pickup points only for women’s.

Can I leave early?

The ticket holder is allowed to enter and leave the venue whenever they like between 11 AM – 5 PM on event day.

Can I bring my kids with me?

Children in the ages of 4-10 (girls) and 4-8 (boys) can be registered in the play area with a nominal fee of Rs. 600 per kid inclusive of lunch. Kids below this age range are welcome to remain in the play area with maids/caretakers.

What is the duration of the conference?

The conference is of six hours, between 11 AM – 5 PM.

Can I bring food/water with me?

Water, tea and lunch will be served.

I am unable to attend, can I send someone else on my behalf?

Please refer to our Refunds policy, clause 2 “Transferability”.

Will there be prayer facilities available?

Yes, there will be wudu and prayer area facility available.

Dr. Zeeshan Ahmed

Dr. Zeeshan is a truly multi-dimensional expert and a thorough academic. He is serving as the Vice-Chancellor at Al Ghazali University. Prior to his role at Al Ghazali, he was the rector, dean, and Associate Professor at the Karachi School of Business of Business & Leadership (KSBL). He has previously also headed the undergraduate program at Suleman Dawood School of Business at the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). Dr. Zeeshan has over 20 years of diverse academic and professional experience in education, training, consulting and research. After completing his MBA from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA) – Karachi.

Khizar Khalid

Khizer Khalid, a software engineer by qualification and a marketing executive by profession, manages a pharmaceutical marketing and distribution business in Pakistan. One of the co-founders of Hikmah Institute, he also teaches various courses at Hikmah Institute. He received his BSc Computer Science from LUMS back in 2010, where he also took multiple courses in Islamic Jurisprudence, Law, Spirituality and Philosophy. Khizer has also taken multiple courses in various aspects of Islam from Warwick and Oxford University. His area of research is comparative religion, while his favorite areas of study are Hadith and Islamic Jurisprudence. Alongside his professional and educational commitments.

Arsalan Ahmed

Arsalan Ahmed is one of the co-founders of Naseeha Institute and has been in academia for the past 10 years. He is currently involved with Beaconhouse National University as an Assistant Professor and working at the Message Foundation as the Head of School Culture & Discipline. Arsalan Ahmed completed his Bachelors in Accounting & Finance from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) in 2010 followed by an MSc in Economics in 2011. Thereafter, he was awarded the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship which allowed him to pursue a Masters in International Political Economy from the University of Warwick. Arsalan has also acquired the Islamic Finance Qualification from the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment, United Kingdom.

Shahzaib Aijaz

Shahzaib Aijaz is one of the co-founders and a faculty member at Hikmah Institute. Shahzaib runs an event management and corporate facility management company, he is also involved as a faculty at various universities teaching management courses to MBA students. Shahzaib Aijaz completed his bachelors in Economics & Mathematics from the Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) back in 2010, and pursued his MBA from the Karachi School of Business and Leadership (KSBL). Before embarking on an entrepreneurial journey, Shahzaib’s professional experience was working as the Head of Marketing at The Indus Hospital, prior to establishing his own firm, his area of research is management and marketing.

Unboxing the reality of addictions

In current times, addictions in its various forms are prevalent extensively in our society and addressing it is the need of the hour. Living in a society where it’s a trending culture of mass advertising and glorifying excessive consumption of all sorts of content and the near instant gratification of desires. “Having more and having now” is an urge now which started off as a fashion, proves to have a domino effect, and in turn, unconstrained desires which only grow stronger each time they’re fed, whilst some even turning into overriding intimidations. In such chaos of intellectual ambiguity and other such prevalent notions , Enslaved 2022 aspires to give a balanced Worldview and a moderate outlook, in order for a view of self reformation to be established.

Misdirected love

With relationships, come complications, and complications, can lead to aversions. This causes turmoil and disorder in our lives. Often, we are confused between something being a result of fleeting temptations, or developing real feelings. Contemporary society tends to propagate the idea of immediate gratification of desires and misled affections, leaving us entangled in physiological, psychological and social implications. Revolving around the harms and implications of relationships, primarily based on temptations. Focusing on the wisdom and philosophy behind discouraging ‘misdirected’ affections and encouraging deeper more meaningful bonds in the Islamic context. This episode of Misdirected Love, inspires to highlight the basic inadequacies of prompt indulgence of desires based on the misconceptions about Love.

Homosexuality, LGBTQ+ and Gender Fluidity

With this topic, we hope to clear out doubts that are prevalent in contemporary society and the contextualization of this very important issue in the Islamic framework! The origin of this ideology, the premise on which it is based, the conceptions surrounding it and much more to be commented upon. Over time, the intensity of the discussion around this issue has increased exponentially, and there prevails a lack of clarity in opinions regarding the LGBTQ discourse. Amidst all the prevailing confusion, we aim to cut through the fog and have a comprehensive dialogue regarding Gender Fluidity and LGBTQ+. Under this umbrella, we shall revisit the origins and look for lessons in history. We will also cover some of the basic validations for the LGBTQ argument, and the idea that Gender identity is a social construct which doesn’t necessarily have to be biological.

Living a life of purpose

Introducing our fourth topic; Living a Life of Purpose. A life with a vision tends to give a big picture, consisting of components such as spirituality, mental and emotional wellbeing, relationships, and career. If we begin to analyze the problems surrounding us, we will begin to understand that most of us are deprived of a vision that we need to live ‘by’ and have a purpose to live ‘for’. When it comes to living a life that is inspired by a purpose, we need our resources and independence of intellect to identify the right one. For this very assertion, we need to seek mentorship in individuals who can guide and counsel, and inspire with a drive that can guide life decisions, influence behaviour, give a ray of hope and direction. Living in times where the idea of ‘Live and Let Live’ is not only common, but idealized amongst the masses, basing the entire philosophy of life around this very notion, and then struggling to find meaning in one’s life. Because yes, everyone is indeed entitled to their own opinions, but in this framework, if we fail to create meaning and make a difference, then there is a major lacking in this ‘life of purpose’.

Yasin Asad

Yasin Asad is the Co-Founder of Naseeha Institute in Lahore. He is an academic by profession; currently engaged as a Lecturer at University of Management & Technology and serving as the Director of Department of Islamic Studies at the Message Grammar School. Previously, he has taught English and Business Studies at various schools across Lahore. Yasin holds an undergrad degree in Political Science & Economics and an M.Phil in Education Leadership & Management from the Lahore University of Management Sciences. Furthermore, he has spent 7 years studying Uloom of Deen under the tutelage of qualified Islamic scholars He delivers talks and conducts workshops at universities and institutes of academic learning.
